  • The guy at 1:28 thank you. You are the first person that right away just calls the cops. In most of these videos, the people just say hmm wonder what's wrong with them and go around leaving them to possibly kill someone. So if you watch this channel thank you for calling right away!

  • It’s crazy watching some of these clips. I’ve been a first responder for 15 years and 10+ years ago, some of these would have undoubtedly been fatal or resulted in serious injury. It’s amazing how well our advanced safety features are in vehicles now. I also want to add what a fabulous PIT from law enforcement. No other veh involved & the chase cane to an end before more lives were impacted

    • Not the best of places to do a three point turn. Not saying the other driver isn’t an idiot, but so is the cammer, most of the videos of his that are in this compilation show close calls that never had to be a close call. Why trust other drivers to do the right thing? Be a defensive driver, which he isn’t.

      macarde10macarde10Il y a 4 mois
  • 7:14 can make any type of u turn if you are entering another lane and block it, same as making right turn can not fully exit the road. Only liability could be if other party saw you and did nothing to avoid the problem ahead. Guess rolls were reversed the option would be reversed? Statute states this.

John Glotfelty MDJohn Glotfelty MDIl y a 5 mois
  • 5:58 was other driver given, if so was it paid? If so she accepted liability. You are driving safely in your lane to be seen, with no turn signal she 100% liable for entering your lane. Improper lane change, no turn signal, careless driving. You have 0% at fault

John Glotfelty MDJohn Glotfelty MDIl y a 5 mois
    • I agree that the other driver is 100% at fault. Sadly though, since there was about 3-4 seconds for the cammer to react, based on the other cars headlights turning into the other lane, insurance will probably rule something along the lines of 90/10. Hopefully they took in to account the wet pavement and the fact that cammer, as you said, didn’t seem to be doing anything wrong. Though, without audio, always have to wonder if they were distracted in a conversation.

      macarde10macarde10Il y a 4 mois
  • 3:00 that is my local area... Many of these out of state Alabama/Georgia drivers (there is a lot of them here) think you have to yield to them if they pull in front of you or are changing lanes.

    RedGeorgieRedGeorgieIl y a 5 mois
    • He was an idiot, clearly... but the cammer could have saved herself some grief by simply yielding for a minute. If I have to drive around another vehicle because it’s sticking into traffic, I’ll yield, with the exception of maybe a multi lane road with cars traveling at a higher rate of speed. Even then, it would depend on the circumstances, ie. traffic around me or behind me.

I personally wouldn't have tried a turn like the Tacoma did, but when you see the rear and front dash cam footage combined it seems that the Pontiac suddenly hits the gas and pulls ahead of all the cars around him. From the Tacoma's perspective it might have seemed like a safe turn at first. But I'm also confused by the Pontiac's inability to avoid the accident, I don't know they probably both had bad judgement.

    • Correct. The caption says the sedan driver was not paying attention. However, until just 1 second before the collision the other car was still slowing, apparently to stop (as they were required to do). They then suddenly accelerated forward. The sedan braked, but there was no way they could avoid the impact in that 1 second. And no sign of the danger before impact-minus-1-second.

    wally manwally manIl y a 7 mois
    • @wally man The gap was half the size it needed to be just for 1 car following another. That's not in the perfect world. That's in THIS world. Leaving a gap of 1 second is tailgating. And the gap was a QUARTER the size it needed to be for another car to get in between. That's not "plenty of room". Nowhere near it.

      Paul KennedyPaul KennedyIl y a 7 mois
    • @Paul Kennedy Sure, in a perfect world the guy would have had a bigger, safer gap. That said, the cammer didn't have to slam on the brakes or anything to avoid him. So I stand by my comment that he completely overreacted by laying on his horn. that said, it certainly doesn't justify the guy in front brake-checking him like he did.

      wally manwally manIl y a 7 mois
    • He certainly didn't have plenty of room. The camera car was barely 1 second behind the car in front. (It should have been at least 2 seconds behind.) Nevertheless, the other car drove into that gap. A gap that was already too small. It needed to be at least 4 times the size to be large enough.

    tudorjasontudorjasonIl y a 7 mois
    • Or he’s just plain lying about the outcome. Most people do not realize that the majority of traffic laws are the same from state to state. The highway safety act of 1966 ensures a continuance of laws, traffic patterns, markings and signage country wide. People who generally say otherwise, misinterpret the law or make assumptions. This cammer posted multiple videos of bad driving, while some other people involved were bad rivers as well, just yield if you have to... why deal with accidents. • At 4:48, the cammer could see the Mini across the road, attempting to pull across. At 4:51, the car in front of the cammer swerved around the obstructing vehicle and the cammer had a choice: either lift off the throttle and allow to Mini pull across the road, thus losing a couple of seconds, OR take the "MY right of way, loser!" attitude, and press on. At 4:56, having taken the second option, she lost rather more than a couple of seconds.... Sometimes, insisting on one's rights is not worth the anguish of the consequences, and I have little sympathy for her.

    MikethecabbieMikethecabbieIl y a 7 mois
  • Although I agree that the cammer LAYING on his horn was way too much, for those of you that have a dashcam have you seen the difference in what you see space wise in front of you vs what the camera records? That guy was definitely closer than what it seems in the recording and was a bit too close to the driver. A simple warning horn tap saying "hey I'm here, you're a bit too close to my car and in my stopping distance" should have sufficed. Both of them have some things to work on

    Victoria BellVictoria BellIl y a 7 mois
    • Tru Victoria, but just as you can count the distance between you and the car in front of you, while driving... so can you in a video. Insurance companies and police departments will do so as well. If we are talking about the idiot in the white suv who failed to signal and, yes, did cross over just under two seconds in front of the cammer... then yes, both of them need to work on their driving skills. The cammer accelerated towards a car, now partially in his lane, rather than suffer a slight at the hands of another driver. Both were wrong, you know the old adage, “two wrongs do not make a right.”
