    • @RR&BD Driving School sorry. My bad. Going back to find the two time stamps I realized that while they are completely different. Also, I literally just watched the same clips on another channel so I think maybe my confusion came in there with a "hey, I've seen this before"! Once again, sorry. Hope this finds you well!

  • 3:55 Sorry blaxican but you're an idiot, you deliberately tried to beat a yellow and passed it 0,5 second before or after it became a red. so close that the police officer might very well believe what he said. No matter who's legally at fault, the pain that followed, you did that to yourself. The sad part is that you suffered injuries, that you almost died, and that you still don't see that what you did is stupid. Again, it's less than a 1-second difference between you running a red and a very very late yellow . Maybe if the police are unwilling to help you is because they know that one day, you might kill someone

  • 3:56, In my opinion, it's the cammer's fault as the light had already turned yellow. Should've expected it to turn red, this could've been avoided if the cammer had slowed down in time.

  • 1:20 (the one where the girl gets struck by the semi) the accident is her fault, when a semi turns it has a large turn radios causing the trailer to go in to the closer lane. This is why there are stickers posted at the back of trailers saying don’t be on the inside of the turn next to a turning semi.

    • Yeah... I learned, at an uncontrolled intersection, to treat it as a stop sign. The cammer was turning from the T onto the straight section, I'd say they were at fault, but I could easily argue they were both at fault, too. If it was an all-way stop, he'd have had the right of way (getting there at the same time, person turning right has priority over someone turning left).

  • 4:00 Blaxican, you're a frickin idiot. You clearly ran a red trying to beat the yellow. You had more than enough time to safely stop, but chose to put others' lives at risk instead of being a responsible driver. Maybe that constant pain you have now will be a reminder that you really screwed up and won't own up to your mistakes.

  • 1:06 I'd say both at fault. Altima more so because they took the turn way too sharply but also cammer for proceeding onto the road without looking both ways. Because there's no stop sign I assume this neighbourhood is treated more like a parking lot and so extra caution should always be taken.

    IKhanIKhanIl y a mois
    • Even if the guy ran a red - you need to be making sure it's clear to turn. In this case, though, as best I can tell, the other car's wheels WERE just over the stop line when the light changed. That guy was a douche for not stopping, but as often happens in these videos, it takes two to tango, with the cammer being technically wrong.

  • 2:39 the light changed from amber to red at that time car driver should have anticipated that the lights would change and you were manoeuvring on amber to turn. The fault is the red light jumper, as the car was clearly passed the line on to the crossing. Cammer should have paused and would have had clearance and no crash if he paused for a second. Cop needs his eyes tested and is unqualified to make such assumptions, I would even ask the department to request he be sight tested. ~Trooper

  • Just FYI, According to your state’s Drivers Manual, a school bus has the right of way. @1:40, the Drivers Manual also describes this situation and advises the driver in the right hand lane to yield to the tractor-trailer due to the turning radius. Check it out.

  • Between 3:56 and 4:00 there appears to have been 4 whole seconds of an amber light.... It was NOT a clever move on cammer's part to try to beat the lights at that range. Van was suspiciously swift off the mark, though.

    MikethecabbieMikethecabbieIl y a mois
    • @Marc M Fair enough, I suppose. As I tell my sons, every choice we make has a consequence. The cammer had a choice whether to stop or try to beat the lights; he, as you say "got unlucky" when he made the riskier choice.

      MikethecabbieMikethecabbieIl y a mois
    • There's nothing wrong with beating a yellow light in Texas. He just got unlucky that there was a dumb van driver that decided to run his red light. That could've just as easily happened during a green light for the cammer.

  • 1:04 I'd pin most of that on the cammer. Cammer made no plans to stop there and I believe that's what lead to the impact. The turning car did make a bad turn but turned away once it noticed cammer. The impact probably could have been prevented if cammer had actually planned to come to a stop.

There should probably be a stop sign there for the cammer, but the design of that intersection says to me that the cammer has to yield regardless, and while the Altima clearly took that turn at a bad angle the cammer should have checked both ways before even turning. Always best to use extra caution in neighborhoods anyway, what if a kid had been at that corner when the cammer clearly wasn't looking?

They will, however, cite the party that they feel broke the rules of the road. This can affect who is assigned fault by the insurance companies.

  • Userradi - If the Altima hadn't tried to cut the corner I doubt any contact would've occurred. However, I think I'd call that a 50/50. Shane Adams - anyone who goes on the inside of a turning tractor/trailer deserves to get sideswiped for not giving the rig enough room to turn. The video show the cammer chose to put the car into a dangerous position instead of letting the ruck take the corner with a safe space. WorstPapaGamer - the on-coming car didn't hit the line until the light was red. The video shows about 30 to 40 feet of open road in that lane when the light goes yellow, and it clearly shows he was trying to beat the light. This is the sort of case where the lawyers make a fortune arguing both sides. That's why when turning across incoming traffic I do NOT go until I can see all of both lanes for about 50 to 60 feet or the light is red. I'll sit in the middle of the intersection until it turns red and it's clearly the other driver's fault if they run the red.
